BLACK SHOES

if there is one item of apparel i do and will continue to "over-buy" for the rest of my life it is black shoes, especially black boots. and even more especially, ones with substantial heelage (i like making up my own words) like these from alexander wang. these top ones are pretty high on my general wishlist.

SOMEWHERE

somewhere is sofia coppola's newest film, set to come out december 22 of this year. 

it does sound interesting though: "Somewhere takes place at the famous Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood and stars Stephen Dorff as a "bad-boy actor" stumbling through life who lives in excess at the luxury hotel, but an unexpected visit from his 11-year-old daughter, played by Elle Fanning, forces him to reexamine his life."

elle fanning is beautiful, side note.

i can't say that i made a killing there, but i was certainly ready to kill a woman who was hoarding nearly 20 pairs of shoes in a corner, including the exact ones i really wanted. it was war but i was up for it.

when i was about to give up, i saw these:

super super excited to wear them everywhere.
