how incredibly more sexy and unique is this (pretty, though rather plain) white dress made by that incredible waist/shoulder harness? similar accessories at lanvin as well. fresher than suspenders and a perfect compliment to clothes that need a little kick from the "reins".

BLUE MOON

this is one of the most beautiful and inspiring videos i've seen in a long, long time. i think already in my top ten. it's a perfect and equal combination of the gorgeous melody of kendal johansson's cover of big star's blue moon, the cinematography, and heidi nilausen's completely incredible designs and styling. to me this video is many things, so entirely accurate and gracefully done: the teenage story, and to a lesser extent the 20-something story. and the model, (i'm obsessed with red hair), is amazing. my favorite part of the video is when she is 'branded' with the blue paint. she is in total freedom with the people who accept her. i might be reading more into it than they intended, but that's what i see and why i love it so much. please watch:
